There is an item that cost about 500gp that allowed a witch to keep their familiar's spells in. I can not remember the name of the item. Any help is appreciated. :)
It isn't 500gp (that sounds too good), but the Stone familiar in Ultimate Equipment lets you store up to 500 levels of spells in it, and let you teach it to your familiar.

Yep, stone familiar from UE costs 6000gp, is a statuette of a tiny animal, and can store up to 500 spell levels worth of spells, and can be used to teach familiars those spells.

I guess it did not work the way I remembered, sigh. Oh well I will have to wait a few levels.
Hmm, it is still an excellent item for a Witch. You can sort of Back-Up your Familiar's HDD.
