Can you make Rope out of Darkleaf Cloth?

Rules Questions

As a special material, the cloth is primarily intended for armor. The material entry does list a price for 'other items' however, so if you were interested in more durable items could you construct rope or other goods from it?

The phrasing of the text indicates that it could be used for anything your imagination and a realistic interpretation of physics would allow (or even an unrealistic one).

So, yes, you could definitely make other things out of it. The gray area that is entered is what the stats of those items are. At that point you're going to need to work something out with your DM, as rules don't exist for it, though you could, reasonably, extrapolate values based upon hide, wood, darkwood, and other values.

Basically, talk to your DM.

I guess you could make standard (hemp) rope of it.
The other kinds of rope already have a special material that changes them. So no spider-silk-darkleaf rope.

Don't know if making hemp rope from darkleaf would give it a better cost/gain ration than just buying silk or spidersilk rope.
