Odd question came up last night during society play: Agile Feet, which is a Charm Domain power, lets you ignore difficult terrain for 1 round 3(+wis mod)/day. But the wording is such that one of my fellow clerics believes that you have to take the free action to activate it the round *before* you want to make use of it, rather than it activating on your current turn. The problem is the phrase "for the next round...", which I took to mean "for the next round after you activate this", as in, you activate it and it lasts for a round.
Am I wrong? Have I been inadvertently cheating by benefiting from this ability on the same turn I activate it?
for the next round from the time it is activated, so until the start of the next turn after you activate it (it is used on the round activated).
Okay, good. That's what I'd always thought.
