i'm not sure if this is the right place to post this.... but i'm new to the game and i needed some help:
Regarding the Summoner class. I noticed that the Summoner's Eidelon is an Outsider. Does this mean that it is not healed by Channel Positive Energy unless the channeling caster takes Alignment Channel as a feat? Also, I believe that Cure Light Wounds being a Divine spell uses positive energy so would it be possible to heal an Eidelon with the spell? I ask because I am playing a campaign and there seems to be some argument over this primarily stemming from the fact that some people are saying that since the Eidelon is an Outsider, it is not affected by either positive or negative energy while others believe that since it's a summon, it should count as a living creature and as such, should be subject to the effects of both types of energy. I'm pretty new to all of this so it would be helpful if the rules regarding Divine magic's effects on Eidelons and Outsiders in general could be clarified a bit.
2. Regarding the Summon Monster spell. I can't seem to find anything in the wording of the spell or game mechanics that would prevent a caster from casting Summon Monster in consecutive turns and wind up controlling a lot of monsters for the encounter. Does this mean that it's indeed possible to cast another Summon Monster spell to summon additional creatures while another instance of that spell is still active? Also if it's possible to do this, does the second Summon Monster spell have to summon the same creature or is it possible to summon and control different types of creatures at once? It's possible that it might just be written down and for whatever reason, I've entirely missed the text so if the answer is written in one of the books, it would be helpful if you could possibly point me to the text so that I can show the other players.

Eidolons can be healed with CLW, positive energy, etc. Aasimars are also outsiders, but can also be healed with those means. The summoner poses her own healing spell, just so she can heal her eidolon but no one else. Otherwise, the eidolon can be healed in all normal ways.
You can summon as many different creatures as you want, there are no limits on how many, or what types, as long as they are on the SM list.

Hmm... I thought Aasimars could be healed because they are Native Outsiders. Is the Eidolon considered Native then? And if Outsiders can be effected by channeling, what is Alignment Channel for then? Or does Alignment Channel exist to allow you to channel against an unwilling target?

All outsiders are living creatures and are healed and harmed as such unless having a trait stating otherwise. This even applies to outsiders without conventional biological metabolism, such as elementals and inevitables - they are still living creatures.
If the creature has Constitution score it is alive. All living creatures are powered by positive energy unless they have negative energy affinity (e.g. dhampirs, sceaduinar) which makes them react to positive and negative energy as if they were undead (but they are still living creatures for all other purposes). Only entities that lack Constitution aren't living things.

Eidolons are living beings, so are healed with the various Cure X Wounds spells. Creature type doesn't matter, unless they are undead or a construct. All living beings (even things like demons and devils) are healed by positive energy.
And if Outsiders can be effected by channeling, what is Alignment Channel for then? Or does Alignment Channel exist to allow you to channel against an unwilling target?
Normally, Channel can be used to either target all living creatures in the area, or all undead creatures.
With Alignment Channel, you can instead choose to target only outsiders of the specified alignment, and no one else.
