Hey all,
I'm still pretty new to pathfinder and as such I have a noobie question. What are some good situational items to have on your character for just in cases. I plan on buying Silversheen, but thats all that i could seem to find in the wonderous item section at least. Does anyone have any other recomendations, and if you could point me to a good source to find items that would be awesome. Also Pathfinder Society legal please :)

For melee:
Have one weapons to deal with each type of DR. At low levels, this is mostly slashing/blunt/piercing, but as you move up you'll want silver (or silversheen), cold iron, and magic. A golembane scarab is useful for those pesky... golems. At low levels, a scroll of magic weapon can be awesome for dealing with incorporeal undead.
For everyone:
I'm sure others can add to the list.

Along with Mike's blog, and thread, there are a few more threads with this kind of stuff around. Check Painlord's thread list, I believe he has one of them. Check Painlord's thread about Mergy's Methods, as well. Not currently having any new posts made, but there are some old ones which cover this, as well.

If your character is low strength, potions of Spider Climb and Touch of Sea can save your neck in a few tough situations. A potion of Vanish or Expeditious Retreat might be useful for *real* emergencies.
Smoked glasses cost practically nothing, weigh practically nothing and save against one of the more fatal effects in PFS. It's a rare effect, but if you run across it, you will be happy to have the glasses.
I like Ioun stones, personally. Cracked ones are a cheap and effective way to beef up your character.
