I have a character that needs to choose an outer plane to have an affinity with. I have chosen Elysium, but have no idea about some things, or if it is even a valid choice. Is there a place where a list of the planes are and what energy types are associated with them? I can't find it definitively in the SRD and it certainly isn't in the core or the game mastery guide.
"The Great Beyond" from the Pathfinder Campaign Setting line is a solid reference for all things planar, though it does not detail particular energy types for many outer planes. You might consider the energy resistances/immunities of the outsiders native to an outer plane as a good starting point for relevant energy types.
