Your mount is an Orc ? Is it also a Barbarian (or anything else with Rage as a class feature) ?
If not, I do not see how it got Amplified Rage.
If yes, it is generally accepted that a rider and his mount are adjacent. And thus it would work (because the wording of Ferocious Mount specifies that the mount is indeed raging).

As noted, Amplified Rage has a pre-requisite of "Orc" so I'm not sure how your mount is getting it in the first place. It also specifically requires the Rage class feature, not just that the character be raging. There's not really any way you could do this without some serious house-ruling. I suppose if you played an Inquisitor/Barbarian with Solo Tactics and used the Ferocious Mount power that might get you the benefits of Amplified Rage, but it still wouldn't extend those benefits to your mount.

Take a Half-Orc Barb 1/Druid 6 cohort who wildshapes into a mount.

Fair enough.
