Seeking advice for a Pacifist Character

Advice

I'm playing a Pacifist Bard that can't sing and performs comedy. I was wondering if anyone would have any tips for me.

Right now my Bard is lvl 5 and specializes in Alchemy and Diplomacy. My current weapon of choice is a blowgun with Blue Whinnis poisoned darts.

I'm kind of going for a character that is against killing sentient creatures and always tries to find an alternative solution. So I have really high Charisma (20) and maxed out diplomacy. I also have maxed out Alchemy and took the Master Craftsman (Alchemy) Feat and craft Wondrous items. SO I can Craft wondrous items using my alchemy skill. I also tookt he Persuasive feat.

So far my tactics are pretty try to talk the situation down, or resort to nonlethal poison spells, and alchemical items (Thunder stone, tanglefoot bag etc.)

So I'm wondering if anyone might have any good tips or tricks that could help me better play this character.

Grand Lodge

Well, Whips and Nets are good weapons for you.

I have a pacifist player in one of the games I am currently running, a pacific illusionist gnome sorcerer specifically.

Two things that have been of great help to keep him on his path have been:

Merciful Spell

and

Blunt Arrows

I would give you a gold star it is hard to live by restrictions.
Go role playing.

For weapons other wise sap, hands blunt weapons used to do temporary Damage. As a bard you can fascinate them. at 6th level you can use suggestion. And the 1st level sleep is always good.
Are you willing to spend money and hire them?
How do you keep the party from killing them.
What do you do with them after they have surrendered?

Well, obviously you want to take spells like Hold Person and Glitterdust that hinder your foes without damaging them (HP wise anyway).

I think there are some Masterpieces that are very good non-lethal crowd control things.

I can think of this one off the top of my head as a good one, but it requires Sing.

Though as a comedian, Stone Face might be great if your party ever runs into a basilisk or something.

Oh myyy.

As far as my party goes, thats a toughy. The rest of my party is a bit kill happy. I knew this going in, and I'm not entirely sure how things will end up working out in that regard.

As far as what to do with prisoners, I figure I'll have to think on my feet. Tie them up or knock them out. Whatever works at the time.
There will be a lot of negotiating with my party to dissuade killings.

My one saving grace is that I am not a bleeding heart pacifist. I won;t kill, and I will do my best to prevent unnecessary killing. But I'm not gonna make too much of a fuss if we are fighting for our lives and a party members kills someone in self defense.

I looked at adventures and murders mark is almost a mystery intrigue exclusively, so it might temper a blood crazy group to learn a few new tricks.
