Quick (Hopefully) Diety's Favored Weapon Question

Rules Questions

Liberty's Edge

This came up at a PFS table discussion. I'm not sure if this a RAW question or a PFS question, but I thought I'd start here.

If you are a cleric (or inquisitor) dedicated to Irori, do you get improved unarmed strike?

One of the guys was sure it had been clarified, but he couldn't remember which way the decision went.

Dark Archive

...Crap, I know I remember seeing a dev chime in on this, but for the life of me I can't remember where.

Clerics do... it's in the PFS handbook, and was added due to this FAQ. Hasn't been clarified for inquisitors.

It's their Deity's Favoured Weapon so yes.

Liberty's Edge

Mirrel,
Well, I also would think it would work that way. But it just says proficiency with the dieties favorite weapon. Which is not precisely the same as 'improved unarmed strike.'

Oladon,
Thanks, I found it in the Guide to Organized Play on page 8. It is in the changes section. It is wierd they specified for the cleric and not for the inquisitor. But the wording on both abilities is the same, so I would think they almost have to allow it for both.
