I am hoping to immerse my group as much as possible in the rugged setting of Hungry Storm. But, I know nothing about the human population of the area, other than the small amount of information in the module itself.
What are the differences between the Varki and the Erutaki?
Can anyone direct me to a book or website or some other source that can explain something about these cultures?

Most of the information about them is included in the adventure, though the upcoming Player Companion People of the North has significantly more detail on those two cultures.
Until then, however, there is some additional information about the Varki in the "Lands of the Linnorm Kings" entry in the Inner Sea World Guide.
