Improved feint

Rules Questions

Hi guys,

I have a quick question regarding this feat:

Quote:
Improved feint benefit: You can make a Bluff check to feint in combat as a move action.
Quote:
Feint: You can use Bluff to feint in combat, causing your opponent to be denied his Dexterity bonus to his AC against your next attack

Can I feint (move action) and attack using the benefits from feint (standard action) on the same round?

It seems a nice combination, a chance for a sneak attack in almost every situation.

Well, you can drop prone as a free action so you can faint whenever you want...

In all seriousness, yes. That is the point of Improved Feint.

Unless it's one of those rare occurences where you have to move towards the target to attack it.

Liberty's Edge

I am now wondering what an Improved Faint feat would be like.

Maybe give you (or your allies) attacks of opportunity against adjacent opponents as they stare dumbfounded at your PC going down before they even raise a hand ?

the problem is trying to use feint and get a full round of attacks. improved two weapon feint allows that but requires a bajillion feats to get. or 4 (by RAW) or 5 (probably RAI).

I was thinking these from the title:
Improved Faint

Improved Feint is nice at low levels or when you have no one to flank with to get your Sneak Attack.

As indicated, Two Weapon Feint is the trick to be able to do full attacks with a Feint using up only the first.

Passing Trick allows you to feint as a swift action while tumbling, and Moonlight Stalker Feint allows you just to feint as a swift action. 'Course, that one has an even longer prerequisite list than Two Weapon Feint... but does exist.
