Haste with 5-Foot Step

hello guys i have a question just to clarify mechanic of 5-Foot Step, a hasted one can use it to make a 10-foot step or is still limited to 5-foot step?
For what i understand from the manuals you are limited to take only one of this kind of action (5foot step) and you cannot combine with other kind of movement, but the spell Haste says that increase all modes of movement to a maximum of twice the subject's normal speed using that form of movement

The 5-foot step is not a mode of movement. Modes of movement are your speed, swim speed, fly speed, burrow speed, etc. You can increase these modes of movements to as high as you want, but you'll only ever be able to take a 5 foot step during a 5-foot step.

I believe there is a magic item in UE that allows you to move up to 15 ft when taking a 5 foot step, don't remember the name though.
