The wagon is 1x2. I can fit the bed inside the wagon with same amount of room that I had when I put bed on flip mat. The cart can almost fit a small mini. The barrel will fit in the cart.
Thx Duncan7291!
So the barrel is a little smaller than the base of a small mini when you put it upwards?
Can the cargo hold of the wagon hold 2 medium or small minis (bases-wise)?
Thx again!

The bartender mini has been rated 5 stars!
I wish more people would write a review for the singles (i will do it the day that i get them, unfortunately they will be available in february in germany).
Thx to Duncan7291, Vernon Fults and everyone who provided/provides answers and infos about this set!

That's too bad the crate doesn't open. But even still, it looks like a great piece.
I hope we can get a dedicated (and larger) wagon down the road. With cover and everything, and able to put a handful of minis/supplies in it. I would consider the 'wagon' in this set more like a large cart.
I know there was a KS with an actual wagon awhile back from Tabletop Props, but I missed the KS, and there is no option to buy anything from his website.
I emailed him awhile back and never got a response.
But back to Rusty Dragon, it looks like a great set and excited about getting my minis. :)

Best of Set: (in alphabetical order, excluding dungeon dressing which are all worth getting multiples of) Allevrah, Aristocrat, Bartender, Beaky (really like this one), Cayden, City Watch Commander, Dancing Girl, both horses (very useful mini), Ghoul Champion, Goblin Vulture Pilot, 1/2 elf bard, 1/2 elf enchanter, kobold trapmaker (surprised how much I liked this little guy), merchant, orc rider (my favorite of the set), quivering cube, ranzak (cant ever go wrong with goblins), riding dog, and silver dragon. [I know...a lot of them. Its a good set]
Worst of set: Bugbears (really not my thing), Bunnyip, Cutpurse (details kind of lacking), Graceful Slayer (worst mini in the set), and serving girl (her paint and neck area are off but a very useful mini).

I backed that one and he's just started shipping to KS backers this week. His last Update mentioned "moving forward to get these into retail"; I've asked how people who missed the KS can best track the progress on that, and will PM you if/when he replies.
Having a wagon will be good, but I'm pleased to be able to get the two sizes of carts here.

Thanks for the reviews, Duncan.
You mentioned in your table review that we need more stools. And I agree, more stools would be nice. But for the tables we needs some chairs.
Hopefully we might get those for a future set.

Ok, that would be great. Thank you.

I'll put some more reviews up shortly. Doing so in between job tasks ;) (got to keep myself employed so I'll be able to buy the next set)
Speaking of which, *COUGH* *COUGH* I believe, Erik indicated that he would be posting something on the new set this week. The week is almost over so please sir, can we have some more minis sir?

By now 32 of 53 minis have been rated - thx Duncan7291 and Knightnday!
The bartender seems to be the best human mini and the Graceful Slayer the worst.
@Duncan 7291: Eric usually writes his minis article on friday evening american time/saturday morning european time.
I am very curious about that too and hope for some cool news for the next set or about HUGE minis or Boxed Sets.
I guess we will know more by tomorrow.

I reviewed a bunch more this morning. I will have say that the good minis are very good, but there are some problems with some others that need to be addressed. Please take away the dark color palette that seems to be dominating the paint shop and replace it with something a little brighter? It doesn't have to be sunshine and sparklies, but at this point even goths are asking for it to lighten up a bit!

It seems that Brontoceratops has made the same experiences you have concerning the dark and glossy paint.I can't yet rate the set as i don't have it but i am curious.
Only 6 minis remain unrated.

Something I noticed: in 3 of my 4 bricks, the dungeon dressing was in the two far left packs of the brick when looking at the front of the packs.
I also love that they added an easy way to easily remove the Large minis from the packaging, while there were no flyer that were large, I didn't fear breaking any of the minis as I removed them.
I am firmly in the "any more than 5 human/elf figures per set of 45 is overkill" camp, so this taints my view, and is the reason I'm not going to do full reviews on a lot of these minis. But I thought I'd give you some of my thoughts from my case in top 5 lists.
Top 5 paintjobs
1) Draft horse - WoW! I thought this would be a mediocre paint job, but it is my favorite of the set. the shading of white paint down by the hooves getting lighter as it goes down is great
2)Flesh golem - There are issues, but you need to look closely to find them. There is a wow factor from this mini, the paint job makes this mini. I wish the eyes were better, and the left leg weren't so poorly painted (stitches were missed and the skin tone is all over the pants of two of the 4 I got).
3)Riding dog. While this is a really simple paint job, it is thick where it needs to be, and thin where it needs to be. There is lots of detail in the sculpt, and it all came out with the paint.
4) Ranzak - If it weren't for the parrots beak, this would be further up the list.
5) Half elf enchanter Every time I look at this one, I see more details in the paint job. her right hand is a little muddy, But otherwise great.
Bottom 5 paint jobs
1) Riding horse - Maybe its because of the riding horse's success... Maybe it's because there is no such thing as a naturally occurring white horse in real life, but this mini just feels unfinished
2) The reissues - My RoW Feiyas were both 100% better than the one I got in this case. Her right eye ios on top of her hair, and her left eye has iris so small, it looks like shes staring into the sun. All of the lines on her dress are not strait, and the white outlines on the back of her dress are so bad I think its the worst pain job i've seen on a Pathfinder Battles figure yet. The King is mostly better, but he suffers from raccoon eyes, and the red from his cloak is all over his right hand and his armor where it shouldn't be.
3)Dwarf Bard - The face is horrible, I couldn't tell he had detail in his eyes until I looked at it under a magnifying glass. The Lyre on his back I missed until writing this up, all 3 I got had the drumsticks bent almost 90%, and only the right drum stick has a head on it.
4)Allevrah - This one had the most potential, but was poorly executed. Again, there is no nose on this figure, both arms are painted so poorly, I'm thinking of having my 3 year old niece fix them. I think she has blue earrings, I don't think the entire bottom half of the ear is supposed to be blue is it? Her hair has green from her veil, gold from her armor, and the skin tone that is supposed to be on her ear in it and her neck is unpainted.
5)Vampire Spawn - The shirt is well painted, The skin on all 4 I got we painted so thickly that all detail from the sculpt is gone... Bare feet look like they have boots on because of the lack of discernible toes. Hands have no fingers. They also appear to have been laid down after painting, before the paint dried. there is the impression of a table on the back of the arms of 3 of the 4 spawns.
***NOTE: pious guard is an honorable mention for both these lists... some are masterfully painted, others dreadful ***
5 Most awesome figures
Beaky
Flesh Golem
Orc on Dire Wolf
Silver Dragon
G Cube
Most boring figures
1)Barkeep - nothing screams bartender about her, a better name would be 'blonde' as it is her only defining feature
2)Cutpurse - just borring paint job, weapons bent.
3)Graceful slayer - the curved sword makes it look exactly like my least favorite WotC elf mini
4)Bugbear Flesh Glutton - When would I ever want 3 of these, bugbear are medium, I don't need any large ones, if I wanted a large one, I'd put a medium one on a large base.
5) Gorgon - The Horns - So bad They could have at least been shaped like naturally occurring horns.
Figures I will use the most
Beaky
Draft horse
G Cube
Bunyip - we've needed this since RotRL, its been used in a number of other modules and scenarios
Kobalds - too many modules and PFS scenarios have kobold trapsmith
Figures I will use the least
1) The minis that made my 'bottom 5 paint jobs' or 'most boring' lists
2) Dancing Girl
3)Dwarf wizard - I just don't like that hat
4) Bugbear Mystic - just a very 'meh' mini
5) Bed - most of the other dungon dressing is from places where encounters happen... If you place a bed on the map, the players automatically become suspicious. of a future encounter.

The more i hear from various people all over the internet, the more some things become clear:
1. This set seems to mirror the first three "Icons of the Realms" sets in the regard that almost all common minis have a real bad paint job.
2. The uncommon minis really depend on the individual paint job that the have received as some are great and some are very bad.
3. Almost all rare minis have a great paint job (again mirroring the D&D sets - also from wizkids).
4. Too much dark colors on some minis make it hard to see details (something that seems to be a problem with the Pawns line too recently).
5. Too many human(oid) minis for a lot of people.
I will wait with my reviews until i have my case but one thing is already certain:
This set is generally not as well regarded as the one before - Dungeons Deep by most people.

I'm not a fan of either dungeon dressing (especially not dressing for somewhere-other-than-dungeons) nor not-usually-combatant figures. However, this set is clearly intended to fill those niches so I don't think anyone should be marking it down on that basis. It's not like it's some great surprise!
It seems to me this is very much a collector's set. I don't think it would be a good place to begin one's mini collection - you might open a booster to find a horse, a barrel a barkeep and a ghoul. Not the best start if you only have half a dozen minis or so but full of new things if you're a jaded mini-addict.

Could somebody rate the
-Silver Dragon (the size in comparison to the other Pathfinder Large Dragons would interest me)
-Riding Dog (it seems to me if you cut the base off/pull out the Gnome Wizard that you could place it on the saddle)
-Allevrah, Elf General (how good is the face, is the weapon bendy)
-Zilvaarazat (Mercane)
-King Irovetti (better or worse than the old one)?
Thx

I'm slowly making my way through official reviews. I cannot remember Zilvaarazat, but the others are absolutely solid purchases.

Thanks for rating Cpt_Kirstov and all others - all minis (baring the bar) have been rated!
Here are the (erstwhile) results: *
1 star: 2 minis
2 star: 7 minis
3 star: 16 minis
4 star: 14 minis
5 star: 13 minis
That means:
7 minis are bad, 16 mediocre and 27 are good to great!
* i rounded half stars down because in Pathfinder that´s what is always done.
These results will likely change because some minis have been rated by only 1 person.
If you disagree with a particular rating, just rate it yourself and please explain why.
I will rate all 52 minis (and the bar) as soon as i get my case.
Thx everyone - have fun with your minis!

Well I'll say hats off to Erik for a good selection of miniatures in the set, and to wizkids for what I feel is an overall improvement in paint jobs. I am very happy with my case, most of the miniatures have the paint applied better, not as thick and so consequently don't obscure the details or give the blobby look. Paint application could still improve but at this price point I'm pretty happy

I will wait with my reviews until i have my case but one thing is already certain:
This set is generally not as well regarded as the one before - Dungeons Deep by most people.
I can't help but note that several people say they think this is the best set yet in this thread:
Vernon Fults: "RDI is the best minis release ever!"
Coyle: "Arguably the best set yet."
Joana: "I think this is absolutely the best set yet, quality-wise."
MillerHero: "I agree that Rusty Dragon Inn may be the best set yet..."
There was plenty of other praise (and criticism)—I just searched for the word "best."

I agree Vic it's a big step up in my opinion. I loved dungeons deep and I think that set had the best variety of monsters, but this set is definitely better. Just the variety in the ghouls and bugbears alone makes it a great set for me. In fact I hope we'll get more of this idea In future, 3-4 of 1 race is a great idea. I still would like 1-2 sculpts more of each to finalise the ranks though.
The bugbears could do with a little bit more scale consistency. The ones in RDI are the perfect scale, the earlier two are notably larger but work as bruisers or an intermediate between the one in this set and the glutton. I hope we'll get another two about the same scale as the tyrant and lurker.

I am not saying it is a bad set - it seems much better than Reign of Winter or Skull & Shackles for example.
I am just saying that a lot of people write that not every mini is great, that they have some breakage and that the paint on some minis is too dark. That was not the case with Dungeons Deep to such an extend.
Of course everyone has an own opinion about which set is the best.
I arguably can not yet say if it is the best set for me as i will get my case in february.
But i can say it is very popular and seems to sell good, which is great.
I want the Pathfinder Battles line to be around for the next years and doing well.
It is hard to beat a near-perfect set as Dungeons Deep (which i own every mini of).
Maybe it really IS better (in sculpt and paintjob detail), personally i can't yet tell.
Some people say it is, some don't.
The most important things are that it sells well and that the people will have fun with the minis.
I certainly will.

Honestly I was not all that excited about the bar. Now I have it I think it's great. Not enough stools though. The little bottles are really clever and could double as potion bottles or alchemical/lab equipment. The shelves can sub for bookcases, the bar for store front benches. I can see m yield using this, or parts of this in quite a few urban battle maps. The barrels are lighter than those in the actual set but the tables match well. I'm contemplating a second.

Yesterday and today I finally opened my case and incentive. All around I am very pleased with this set. Rusty Dragon Inn definitely fills a niche we do not commonly see. The collation was very spot on for this set in my box. One each of every rare. My two doubles for dungeon dressings were an extra table and extra crate. The bar is a wonderful incentive and I am very happy with the modular nature of it. Down the line I might pick up another or two as it has good utility for a lot of environments. Many of the figures are good placements for important humanoid characters of all sorts. Great job! Looking forward to the announcement of the next set later today.

Hey folks, we just sent this email to our subscriber base regarding singles:
As a subscriber to Pathfinder Battles, we wanted to give you notice that we are about to restock singles for our latest miniatures set Rusty Dragon Inn.
Because of the overwhelming popularity of this set, we've set a limit the dungeon dressing figures (the Barrel, Bed, Cart, Crate, Large Cart, and Table) to one figure per customer. Please note that our own stock of these figures is limited, so act quickly if there's a specific single you've been after.
The restock of figures will go live at noon Pacific time on Wednesday, January 27. You can find all of the Rusty Dragon Inn singles here.
If you've been waiting to fill our your set of Rusty Dragon Inn miniatures, don't delay! Sales of single miniatures from this set will end at midnight Pacific time on Sunday, January 31.
We've also recently posted a promotional repaint of the Bed, and repainted Feiya and King Irovetti miniatures that are freely available on paizo.com and will be available past January 31.
Thank you for your continued support as a Pathfinder Battles subscriber!

YOU CALL THAT A RESTOCK?!?! You restocked at noon and by the time I got home to order, all of the singles I wanted were already sold out. LAME! What happened to the 1 furniture per customer? If you were enforcing that, then you did a pretty weak restock. If this is the future of case subscriptions, I don't know if I'll continue or not.

Hey Brell, maybe you looked to early?
Only 5 minis are sold out and only 3 ones of them are dressing pieces.
Of course if you wanted another wagon, cart or table it sucks that they are gone...
I will get my case in 2 weeks and hope it will include everything.
As i have lots of crates from other sources, one will be enough for me.
I just wish i could get more beds than one and more tables than 3...

My case contained at least one of everything, but I was hoping to get one or two more tables (I only got one of those, not counting the bar), I was also trying to get one more large wagon, one bartender, one goblin on vulture, and one more quivering cube. I was able to get the one more quivering cube, but after just a few hours into the restock, the other things I was after were already sold out. Was hoping the restock would at least be adequate to maintain stock for one or two days. I got home to order as fast as I could, but it was too late and that was disappointing.

Trollandtoad has the goblin and the wagon left but they are pricey.$14 for the gob and $20 for the wagon.
