Does animal growth stack with the bonuses from the Mammoth Rider class?

Sadly, since they both grant Size bonuses, they would not stack. This is kinda strange to me, since it seems like the Gigantic Steed ability changes the creature's natural form, so the bonuses to Str and Con should really be untyped bonuses, so that things like Animal Growth would work. However, as written, if you cast Animal Growth on your Gigantic Steed, only the higher of the Size bonuses to Str and Con would be used. Conversely, since the penalty to Dex from the Gigantic Steed ability is untyped, and the penalty from Animal Growth is a "size penalty", these WOULD stack and your steed would be losing a good amount of AC.
I am going to bring this back to the fray as I am looking at a concept that may use this.
From what I see, some stuff will stack while others won't:
Size will increase to Gargantuan - Animal growth won't stack with other magical size increases but gigantic steed is not magical.
Dex penalties stack since one is untyped and one is size.
Str and Con bonuses don't stack but at low lvls the animal growth bonus is better than the MMR.
Nat armor stacks
