power attack for small characters

Advice

i remember reading about a feat that worked very similar to power attack but required you to be small, and not require a 13 str.

i cannot seem to find it, can anyone remind me of what that feat was called?

thanks

Piranha Strike; doesn't require you to be small though, just Weapon Finesse and BAB 1 iirc.

Thinking about Risky Striker?

You have to be a halfling, and the enemy must be at least 2 sizes larger to use the feat (large size, in most cases, although a reduce person/enlarge person/a plethora of other things can change those conditions). It's also an AC penalty instead of an attack roll penalty.

piranha strike, thank you.

Piranha Strike can only be used with light weapons.

This makes the feat very limiting.

Any other information about the character who plans on using the feat?

If Strength is the issue, and you want to be able to be a little power house with a specific weapon, I might suggest Dervish Dance in place of Power Attack.

Assuming a 10 Str 16 Dex, at level 3, when you get access to Dervish Dance, you are doing more with the Scimitar than power attack would grant, between the +3 to hit and the +3 to damage (rather than -1/+2 and -2/+4 ... The feat just gets better the more you focus on Dex over Str.

Dervish Dance (Combat)
You have learned to turn your speed into power, even with a heavier blade.

Prerequisites: Dexterity 13, Weapon Finesse, Perform (dance) 2 ranks, proficient with scimitar.

Benefit: When wielding a scimitar with one hand, you can use your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier on melee attack and damage rolls. You treat the scimitar as a one-handed piercing weapon for all feats and class abilities that require such a weapon (such as a duelist’s precise strike ability). The scimitar must be for a creature of your size. You cannot use this feat if you are carrying a weapon or shield in your off hand.

Scimitar: 15 gp 1d4 18–20/×2 — S

Halfling Fun
level 1: Weapon Finesse (Feat "tax*" to get Dervish Dance)
level 3: Dervish Dance (Dex in place of Str for Damage and Attack rolls)
level 5: Risky Striker (-n(AC) / +2n Damage, same progression as Power Strike, must be 2 size categories larger than the halfling)

it was for a guy at my table last night during a pfs game. after talking to him a little later it seems like he is a lame oracle taking just 1 level of barbarian, instead of the other way around. he plays a human who thinks hes a goblin, and uses dervish dance somehow. i was wondering why he didn't play a small race, he said that he wanted power attack and needed a 13 str and didnt like the penalties they gave so he chose a medium race. this is what made me think of pranha strike, but i didnt remember the details of it or the name, hence my post.

i am pretty sure this guy doesn't know the rules enough to maximize, and i get the idea that character concept might be more important to him than maximization(is that a word? if not i claim rights for inventing it!)

so given the concept of a small character using dervish dance, taking 1 level barbarian for rage, and some sort of oracle for the rest of his levels, any ideas? (im not sure if he ever told me his oracle type, if he did, i forgot)

i was thinking risky striker + reduce person maybe? increase dex = to hit + damage, increase ac and hit again with size, and can use risky striker on medium+ sized creatures. reach is a problem at size tiny though.
