This +2 hide armor is made from rhinoceros hide. In addition to granting a +2 enhancement bonus to AC, it has a –1 armor check penalty and deals an additional 2d6 points of damage on any successful charge attack made by the wearer, including a mounted charge.
Magic armor traditionally grants an enhancement bonus to the armor's armor bonus. Therefore, a +2 hide armor would grant a +6 armor bonus to AC. However, Rhino Hide specifically states that it also grants a +2 enhancement bonus directly to AC.
In short, is this armor supposed to give you a +6 armor bonus to AC, a +8 armor bonus to AC, or a +6 armor bonus and a +2 enhancement bonus to AC?

No, it states that in addition to the bonus, it adds 2d6 to damage on any successful charge attack. It's not stating that it adds +2 in addition to the +2 hide armor. It just makes it flow better by listing out the bonus the +2 portion of +2 hide armor grants :)
It grants the same AC as any other +2 hide armor.

There's no such thing as an enhancement bonus directly to AC. There is such a thing as an untyped bonus to AC. Rhino Hide (the specific armor) gives neither.
Rhino Hide is simply +2 magic hide armor (a +2 enhancement bonus to the base + 4 armor bonus to AC) that has a special effect on charging. The description is poorly worded.
EDIT: ninja'd plenty

You should go look at the monk it happens to give that non existent untutored AC bonus.
