Hi everyone.
I'm currently mastering a Rise of the Runelords group, and my players are about midway through "The Hookmountain massacre". I've read through the whole AP now, in preparation for what is to come, and I've decided that I'd like some moodsetting music.
So I'm starting a list with the names of musical tracks, ambient music/audio and whatever else I can come by that can help DMs add that little bit extra to their campaign if they so desire.
I'd like it very much if you would post your own suggestions for music, and where in the AP you think it would be best suited. There are no real rules to speak of, but as a general guideline, consider something with where there are few-to-no lyrics. We want to establish a mood, or invoke ideas of scenery, not distract our players from what is going on :)
Thanks you.
The fortress of the stone giants
- The raid is repelled, tend to the wounded - "A skeleton of a town" from the Icewind dale II soundtrack
- Jorgenfist - "The black gate is closed" from The lord of the rings: The two towers soundtrack
The spires of Xin-Shalast
- Uncovering the golden city - "Kuldahar" from the Icewind Dale soundtrack
- Exploring Xin-Shalast - "First vision" from The Visions of Escaflowne movie soundtrack
- Most high Ceoptra - "Warrior heart" by Paul Cecchetti
- Karzoug the claimer - "Girei" from Naruto Shippuuden soundtrack 2
I'll update it further as I stumble across/think of others, and I'll try to add your contributions to the list as well. Hope this will be of use to DMs out there.

@Icyshadow: Thank you. I'm glad you might be able to find use for this list. Have fun :)
@Count Buggula: Thanks for the references. I got quite a few ideas rummaging through them, and I'm not even done looking into all their suggestions yet :)
Anyway...
Here's the expanded list, with more music I hope you will find useful. I'll keep looking for more music and updating the list as appropriate.

Well I've been playing a bunch of Borderlands 2. I've dug the soundtrack so much so that I went and bought it. Some of it is way too techno for a fantasy setting. However there are a bunch of great ambient tracks and some tracks even have an awesome spaghetti western feel to them which I think would be great.
