Duergar and stealth

I was wondering if anyone can answer a question:

Do duergar receive the +4 Stealth?

Or the stonecunning ability?

In the Bestiary I, the example character receives both...

It seems strange that in the Advanced Race Guide, duergar are 8 RP and reg dwarves are 11 RP...

Any help would be awesome, thanks :)

I'm sorry I can't help, but I too, wish to know this. Hopefully two people shouting instead of one will overcome many people's strange distaste of the duergar master race.......

In 2e and 3e, duergar also gained the giant AC bonus... plus, 3e stated they had all the dwarf abilities... now, I am not fighting for anything more than the Sneaky: +4 Stealth (5 RP)...

"Their skin is a dull gray, as though rubbed with dust or ash, but this is a natural coloration that better allows them to blend with their underground surroundings" (Bestiary 117)

But in the stats... I do not see this blending :)

Yes, the Bestiary Duergar seem to have Stonecuuning, and a +4 to stealth.

The ARG Duergar write-up does not mention either.

Which one is correct?

I am playing a Duergar right now, so I would very much like to know.

I've seen people usually go for the ruling that is less advantageous to players.

But yeah, I'd personally go with the Bestiary version since I don't trust the ARG that much.

From what I've seen and heard, it had errors in the Race Builder stablock for the Lizardfolk, for example.

Another question...

I want to use a Dwarven Waraxe... my character is a Ranger, but my DM says Duergar are not dwarves... do they get Weapon Familiarity?

They do not have Weapon Familiarity.
