Kitsune Realistic Likeness- Child Forms?

I want to play a Kitsune and would really like the ability to be small sized whenever I want. Realistic Likeness says I can mimic the physical features of any individual I've seen (I know this is limited to humans) and Alter Self allows for small forms. Does this work?
