PFS Specific: I have tried looking up whether a witch's familiar loses ALL of their spells when she gets improved familiar or not, but I can't find anything on the matter. There was a few threads I saw, but they didn't have a clear answer. Can anyone help answer this?

This has been answered here for purposes of Pathfinder Society; if you're in a home game, just ask your GM. If you're the GM, make a call (but really, feats that have drawbacks generally state them explicitly, and losing all your spells (outside of the 2 per level and patron spells) is a HUGE drawback--if I were GM I'd rule as Mike did for PFS.

Hrm, I just realized this got moved.
Interesting aside -- the witch PC IMC used Improved Familiar to take a soulbound doll as her familiar. I don't think SBD is officially allowed as an improved familiar, but it seemed pretty cool so I rolled with it!
