LM, are you Canadian with that Red Green reference?

While I'm old enough to share your memories of the good old days, if that player was building a non-finesse melee character, I might have asked the same thing about a strength below 14.

No, actually, I'm not Canadian, Macavity. However, I was born and raised in Chicago, and the local PBS station played his episodes sometimes. I'd like to get some DVD's but that seems to be a rather difficult endeavor.

As to your inquiry, the person in question was building a monk of the four winds. Who then decided, right before we all killed him, that his character was a mute. It's too bad the player using that character was not mute, it might have made the session more enjoyable. :P

I lived in the city; as a kid, I lived around McKinley Park (South Side!), and when I moved back after being in the military, I lived on LSD, near the Museum of Science and Industry. I went to UIC during the day, and got my beer education at night. :P

OK Folks. I've a surgery on Monday. Nothing life-threatening, it'll just resolve a very painful condition. I'll be offline and in the hospital until Wednesday to Friday. Then, I'll be immobile for several weeks. I've a laptop and wireless for the house, but I don't know how strong my pain medication will be. Therefore, my return to the game is a bit fuzzy to predict.

So LM, if you have anything planned in the next week or so that you would want my input before DMPCing Macavity, please PM me.

I'll definitely be online until Sunday and maybe Monday morning depending on the surgery time.

I've managed to procure a copy of the Dungeoneer's Handbook, and while I wouldn't say that I can share it with everyone (my posts got deleted the last time I made that offer), I can say that, if you have a copy of the sourcebook and want to use any of the items in it, or if you want to make use of the new 'torchbearer' class, I will be open to it. Just let me know what you want to do and we can talk about it.

Your DM dealt with with the internet at home and his boss at work. I got into it with the boss last week, and I lost. Not my job (atm), but more or less I lost everything else, privledge wise. I'm going to start back up in a few days, but it will be on a slower schedule. I can probably do a couple of posts during my lunch hour (I think) and at night when I am at home, now that we have internet restored. Plus whenever I can during the weekends. I'm breaking the new rules by posting now, but I felt it wasn't fair to you guys to let you hang.

I'll try to post some this weekend, while I figure out how to handle the weekday stuff. It might be the only time I can post for a couple of weeks, but I'm sure it will work itself out.

Hey guys, I'm back online, although it will be in a sporadic fashion for awhile. Mostly lunch breaks, and I'll try to send a few posts in the evenings and weekends, although that's not for certain.
