VTT Forum request

I am requesting that the Recruitment forum be split up into PbP Recruitment and VTT Recruitment forums.

I am also requesting that a VTT Discussion forum be created.

While I realize VTT currently falls under PbP it is a growing means of playing Pathfinder and could use its own focus to help it grow further. When Paizo's VTT rolls out this will only increase the need.

Right now, I have to filter through a variety of PbP threads in order to find the VTT threads. It would be nice if I did not have to do so.

Hopefully, enough other people also feel this way that you will consider it advantageous to add the forums. If you like this idea, please favorite it and add your own post.

Good idea Gauss. My group is using d20Pro for our weekly Pathfinder session (we're scattered across Texas and Michigan). Having a VTT forum on the Paizo boards would be a great way to compare notes with other users of VTTs, d20Pro and otherwise.

I concur, I use D20pro and another avenue for setting up and finding games would be nice.

HAving the own forum for feedback also makes a lot of sense as then all the comments on it have one place.

With the emergency of VTT use through this remote-work year, and as Paizo Game Space is dead, I come and rescue this request from the River of Lost Threads.

There is a subforum for Organized Play that gathers a lot of VTT Online Play attention, while people at Online Campaigns are basically focused at PbP and requests for VTT tend to pass unobserved. The Gamer Connection offers opportunities but I think it is a bit difficult place to find as compared with something called "Virtual Table Play" or something more meaningful for people trying to find people to play with in the modern era.

Thus, I think having a forum, or subforum dedicated to remote VTT play, can help pull like-minded people together and serve to start up interesting projects on that quickly growing way of playing Pathfinder and other roleplaying games.
