Deliquescent Gloves

Rules Questions

When one acquires Deliquescent Gloves (Ultimate Equipment), are they acquired in pairs or singly? If acquired in pairs, do both gloves function as described? Would a magus wearing a pair of activated Deliquescent Gloves, attacking with spell combat, do an additional 1d6 of acid damage with both his melee weapon attacks AND his melee touch attack spell?

The descriptive text says Deliquescent Gloves can be made to fit any hand, claw or anything that passes for a hand upon command. No mention if a command is needed to activate the gloves' acidic properties. Does one need to activate that property with a command or is it always functioning?

While I have no RAW to back me up, I'd say gloves are always a pair.

I would say that they could be single gloves due to it saying "If the wearer uses that hand to wield a weapon" notice it is singular. However, they would be bought in pairs and I would make people with two-handed weapons use both. As for the touch spells and attacks it mentions melee touch attacks and attacks with weapons so I would judge it to work. I'd say that they are always active, however, I would make someone take them off when manipulating items that are sensitive to acid or suffer the consequences.
