Rules Questions

When using Hammer the Gap with a double crossbow and you have say 3 attacks, and all attacks hit, how would the damage be portioned out?

Assuming you have quickdraw, and three loaded double crossbows, I would say the first two are with no bonus, the second two with +1 damage, and the third 2 would be +2 damage. The phrase i'm basing this off of is consecutive. Consecutive feels like in a row, when you attack with a double crossbow I would think it was instent, not consectutive. Feel free to weigh the other responses in the thread.

Well, the text is
"When you take a full-attack action, each consecutive hit against the same opponent deals extra damage equal to the number of previous consecutive hits you have made against that opponent this turn. This damage is multiplied on a critical hit."

The way I read that, the first hit does 1d8. (normal)
The second hit does 1d8+1.
The third hit does 1d8+2.

That is correct...
