This is a HARD game. I thought I'd throw that out first to weed out anyone looking for just a casual game. The DM is very good at his job of entertaining and running combats that challenge the group of 7 PCs. We recently lost a player due to the lateness of the game(11:30 pm EST start) and have been seeking someone able to fill the large shoes he left behind(a frontline fighter). This game has been running for over a year now and please only respond if you can commit long term.

The party just reached level 10 but in the last battle 6/7 PCs(including self) were killed fighting a nasty boss slightly above our level nearly leading to a tpk. The group however prevailed and PC death does happen when fighting Boss monsters or high challenge quests. There is a lot of information to give about the campaign itself but I'd rather give it to serious candidates.
Its a 30 PB, Paizo only(3rd party material by request but often no) Character creation. Since it is a campaign in progress you'd replace the PC that left rather then join the group(story reasons). Thus 400 gp mundane equipment the rest randomly rolled or given from the party treasury for starting equipment. You will also gain 2 special abilities story related based on your class that increase as you level but only the DM has that list, we all picked our legacies blind at 1st level. They unlocked at level 7 then at level 10. (Legacy left by the player is named Legacy of Justice)
Please let me know if you are interested and your character you'd play and I will answer questions before the DM reviews the recruits for the best fits. (He may have other groups needing replacements as well as he runs this campaign through the week with many other groups.)

I don't know what 30 pb is (I've only done a few homebrew groups) but I'm looking to find an online group to join and I would be interested. I'd either like to play a wizard, or the 3rd party class Pugilist (by wordcasting entertainment)
I missed the part where you said the role of fighter was needed, so ignore my wizard part. I've put together a few fighters ideas, depending on whether you need a tank (tower shield specialist) or dps (two handed fighter).
Here is the current party makeup:
Fighter(Two handed)
Alchemist
Cleric(Merciful Healer)
Bard (Sound Striker)
Rogue
Wizard(Foresight)
However due to the high difficulty of the game the person we lost was a fighter as well and was truly a lifesaver in many encounters where we were heavily outnumbered by enemies. Some of the submissions so far have been magus, fighter, cavalier, etc. But whatever you bring to the table make sure you can back it up with a lot of knowledge about how your character will grow over 20+ levels. Also the strong character builds are not something to be ashamed of, we do RP of course but having a strong build that keeps the party alive is much appreciated(and necessary!).
