Is a Master Summoner Worm that Walks too much for a BBEG?

Advice

Silver Crusade

A campaign of mine is coming to a close and the party will be facing one of the BBEGs, who is a A Master Summoner Worm that Walks. But I'm wondering if that might be too much for them to handle or not.

I've got about 6 players. A paladin, a sorcerer, monk, samurai, ninja and Ranger.

Well...if it isn't too much, do you have a general summary of (or perhaps you can directly cite) the BBEG's stats, as well as some background tactics/stats/gear regarding the players?

they are pretty perfect, worms are bound to get away, but also leave the loot behind. Thus the feelgood from winning, and yeta a bbeg that returns over and over again :p

Summon flocks of celestial sparrows to devour it :-)

Seriously, it sepends on levels, abilities, equipement and player experience.

The only problem with your BBEG is that it's too awesome. 6 players are enough to handle just about anything, even with the severe lack of a healer.

Consider perhaps an altered summoning list? We've put together over 20 alternate summoning lists for the Monster Summoning spells, specifically for Master Summoners so that they could narrow their focus a bit better. This is the one for Vermin.
