Arcane seeker sorcerer

I have wanted to make an arcane seeker for a little while now, and I plan to the next time I create a character, but I have a question.

The third level arcane power is metamagic adept and it is eventually replaced by Arcane apotheosis at level 20. The seeker archetype replaces metamagic adept with seeker lore.

Thus my question is does Arcane apotheosis replace seeker lore at level 20?

After looking at both the Arcane blood line and the Seeker archetype I can confidently tell you that I have no idea Hogeyhead.

If this was a Fighter's archetype that replace armor training 1-3 and left 4, at the level you gained armor training 4 you would receive Armor Training 1. The most logical option I see is since the level 20 capstone ability of Arcane Sorcerer is one that replaces the third level arcana is that you simply gain the third level arcana. This is of course is if it follows the same rules as for a Fighter's Archetypes that change their armor and weapon training.

You would have Seeker Lore and Arcane Apotheosis at level 20. Nothing in the text of Arcane Apotheosis talks about replacing anything, that is entirely contained within the level 3 power, Metamagic Adept.

Since you never acquire Metamagic Adept, you never acquire the line about being replaced. Thus, you keep Seeker Lore at level 20.

It's just a shame that Seeker lore kind of blows, especially considering the Arcane Spell List. The only time the bonus would really apply/matter is with Dispel. I'd much rather have faster metamagic than a +4 to Dispel.

Wow, and the level 15 Seeker ability isn't useful, either. The Arcane Bloodline is awesome for granting all those great utility spells (well, and useless ones like Identify and Power Word anything), but what metamagic are you going to be using on utility spells?

If you are doing seeker, you should combine it with the sage archetype. Skills + trapfinding + full spell casting makes rogue a sad puppy.

mplindusties I must admit I misread the 15th level power text, I thought it applied to all spells, but it only applies to bloodline spells, so it does kind of suck for an arcane scorcerer. Thanks for the imput anyways guys
