Improving will save without Iron Will

Advice

I'm playing a fighter and of course my will save blows. Just wondering what is available with out using a feat.

If you can, try to get a hold of the Crystal Mask of Mindarmor (it's a universal item from the psionics book, and was also in the Magic item compendium for 3.5). It gives you a +4 insight bonus to your will saves.

Also, cloak of resistance (+5 resistance bonus), Pale Green Ioun stone [cracked] (+1 competence bonus to all saves), Pale Green Ioun stone [flawed] (+1 moral bonus to all saves), and Stone of Good Luck (+1 luck bonus on all saves)

If you can get your hands on it:

Wayfinder + Clear Spindle = Protection from possession and mental control (as protection from evil)
Source It's in Seeker of Secrets.

Sovereign Court

Play an unbreakable fighter. Also have high wisdom. I think there are some traits that give a bonus to will saves.

And also, you're playing a fighter. You've got feats to spare. Shoring up your weaknesses is a valid tactic.

If you want to slow down fighter progression, look at some of the style feats and dip into Monk for a level or two, lose a BAB and a hit point or two, but pick up some free combat feats, unarmed strike, and all good saves. You can also get evasion. Of course you can mix and match some archetpes for fun.

Pick up 3 levels of Chevalier (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/extras/community-creations/wonkos-lab/chevalier)

You get some better saves, retain BAB and HD, get immunity to fear, Smite Evil once a day, and lose the AC penalty to charging.

Birthmark Trait...
Indomitable Faith Trait...
Carefully Hidden Trait...
Don't dump WIS...

Birthmark prolly the best as it gives +2 against the WILL saves you never want to fail.
