New Campaign - What to play?

Advice

Grand Lodge

So my roomate has decided to run a Pathfinder game in the Forgotten Realms world, his specific plan is using the city of Phlan on the Moonsea back when it was overrun by undead and other things.

One of the players is making a Rogue/Fighter type, my wife is playing a dwarf warrior-cleric type (possibly), what would you run?

wizard! nercomancer maybe? :P

or a bard. dunno why, i just like bards.

Why not play a drow ranger who dual wields scimitars it is forgotten realms afterall.

paladin could be pretty fun in that kind of setting too, though it sounds like you already have a couple of melee lined up.

Something a little more Forgotten Realms specific?
Gold Elf Wizard? Red Wizard of Thay? Agent of the Harpers?

I just hope the DM isn't a lazy bum and would actually do conversions.

Undead touch sorc is fun to play. Plus, you can use enchantment based spells vs undead. With a buff and temp HPs, you can push fighter/barbarian HPs.
