Making Superstitious Barbarian for PFS: Please critique

Advice

My wife and I are considering playing in the PFS and are making characters. We find it helps sometimes to plot out the whole build, even if it's unlikely that we'll ever get to the higher levels. That way, we can get a feel for how the character might develop and what things might interest us in the long run.

I'm thinking about making a Dwarf Barbarian, focusing on the concept of a character that can just say "no" to most things not damage based, either via high saves or outright immunity. The thought is a melee character that can only be stopped by killing it outright. I know this is not a higher damage build, but it seems like creating this "brick"-type character, one that "just... keeps... going..." could be a lot of fun.

I'm looking to use the Dwarven Dorn-Dergar as my primary weapon; seems like solid damage with an attractive option of shifting reach. With the Lunge and Darting Viper feats (listed below), I'm hoping this could provide a rather significant amount of impact within my character's grasp.

Towards that end, I'm considering the following trait/feat/rage power build and hoped for some feedback. Again, while I want a functional character, I'm willing to sacrifice overall "minimax" in exchange for style/substance in the concept.

TRAITS:
Grounded (Dwarves of Golarion (DoG))
Glory of Old (DOG)

FEATS:
Level 1- Steel Soul
Level 3- Raging Vitality
Level 5- Power Attack
Level 7- Lunge
Level 9- Darting Viper (DoG)
Level 11- Cleave
Level 13- Greater Cleave
Level 15- Cleave Through
Level 17- Cleaving Finish
Level 19- Greater Cleaving Finish

POWERS:
Level 2- Superstition
Level 4- Witch Hunter
Level 6- Reckless Abandon
Level 8- Internal Fortitude
Level 10- Eater of Magic
Level 12- Fearless Rage
Level 14- Renewed Vigor
Level 16- Renewed Vitality
Level 18- Renewed Life
Level 20- Regenerative Vigor

What do you think? Are there other "resistance-type" feats/powers that I should consider? Is Superstitious a good Archetype for this kind of build? I figured the initiative and sensory bonuses complimented its "survivalist" feel, and Superstitious lets me keep my Uncanny/Improved Uncanny Dodges, but I'm open to other options.

The only thing I'm trying to conserve is the 30ft movement available to dwarven barbarians; it's one of the main reasons I've not considered several other archetypes. I like that I can keep up with the other race/class combinations, even as I (hopefully) shrug off conditions, effects, and spells. That said, given the concept, is there anything I'm overlooking?

Thank you for your time and I look forward to your comments!

You should consider human. They get a favored class option to boost the bonus of superstition. If you're going the superstition route, may as well go all-in.

Your build is noticeably lacking in Ghost Rager. Do you not like getting a massive bonus to touch AC?

My wife apparently must play an elf and thought it would be fun to complement that with me playing a dwarf. Peace in the valley, my friend... :)

So, race chosen, I've tried to build as resilient a dwarf as I could.

Do you find Ghost Rager's bonus to touch AC makes a difference? I thought about it a lot, but figured I'm dropping my AC so often (Power Attack/Reckless Abandon combo, Lunge, Rage, etc.) that it wouldn't help.

Am I wrong? What's your experience been? If I were to use Ghost Rager, it would either replace Witch Hunter early on, or Regenerative Vigor later. Do you find it helpful?

Anything else spark your curiosity regarding the rest of the build? To achieve the concept, I figured it was either this kind of barbarian, or an Unbreakable Fighter. What do you think about the decision to cut barbarian?

I've never used Ghost Rager myself, I don't really like the drawbacks of superstition.

But IME, most foes using touch attacks have them because their actual attack bonus is garbage (ex: wizards), so adding like +6 or +8 to your touch AC can make a massive difference there. Rage is only -2 AC, you don't *have* to use Reckless Abandon in situations where ghost rager would be useful, and lunge doesn't help w/o AoOs so it's not like you need to be using it all the time.

I'd replace the vigor powers before witch hunter.

Also, now looking at your feat list.... Cleave is BAD after level 6, and you're not even picking it up till level 11. Have you seen the Dazing Assault feat? The Come and Get Me rage power? Combine those 2 (conveniently available at the same level, basically) with Combat Reflexes and your barbarian gets really scary in melee.

And Power Attack is not a feat. It is a level 1 Barbarian class feature disguised as a feat. :p

Also check out Dreadful Carnage. Available at level 11, gives you a 30 ft area of effect demoralize every time you fell an enemy. Requires Power Attack and Furious Focus, which you probably wanted anyway.

Dwarf Barbarian is fine for a character. I wouldn't go into Unbreakable Fighter unless you were looking to enter Horizon Walker for fatigue immunity or just general interest.

If you guys are playing PFS you will never see 20th level. If you are particularly attracted to some feature that kicks in then, that might affect your thinking.

Took a second look at this. I think you will get more use out of extra rage power than cleave.

Also think I would work toughness in there. You also have to find a way to rage cycle before 17th level. Most take a level of lame oracle.
