Pimp my Paladin

Advice

Dark Archive

Hey everyone. I've recently had need to create a third level Paladin for an upcoming Legacy of Fire game and am having a hard time coming up with items to purchase. I have 3,000 gp's to spend (No more than one third of which can be spent on any one item). Here's what I've bought already:

Scimitar, Masterwork (315)
Longbow, Composite (+2 Strength) (300)
Chain Shirt, Masterwork (250)
Horse, heavy (Combat trained) (300)
Paladin has taken the Sacred Servant archetype and doesn't get the Mount Divine Bond)

Leaving me about 1,800 gp's left to spend. Not sure where to go from here, I was thinking about picking up a Cloak of Resistance +1 or a second MW scimitar (since he's a TWF) but I'm not completely sold on that yet.
Any ideas?

Saves are good. Every +1 counts. Take the cloak.

What was your offhand weapon going to be?

If your going twfin pally use a shield in your offhand

Why not make the longbow masterwork too? Also don't forget your arrows.

Also, if you pick up an off-hand weapon for TWF, remember that scimitars aren't light weapons. You'll want something else. But otherwise that's probably a good call.

Oops, sorry I forgot to mention the GM approved the 3.5 feat Oversized Two Weapon Fighting so he dual wields two scimitars without the horrendous minuses involved with a nonlight offhand weapon.
