Advice: Items for my Oracle

Advice

Sovereign Court

So I am in a Kingmaker campaign and I have a level 2 Dual Cursed (Tongues, Lame) Halfling Nature Oracle that took Bonded Mount (Wolf) Revelation at 1st level. Since I'm low level and limited on what spells I know/can use I have mostly been trying to beat stuff with my mace (which I don't plan on doing forever). Looking forward I was trying to think of items (magical or mundane) that will help me to be a better spell caster/semi front line fighter/tank.

The party composition is a Halfling Caviler, a Halfing Rouge, a Human Vivisectionist, and Half-Elf Druid. I know we are lacking on Arcane casters but we have been dealing with it fairly well so far. And my basic character info is as listed below:

Spoiler:

Str 14, Dex 14, Con 12, Int 8, Wis 8, Cha 18

Feats: Combat Casting, at 3rd level I am taking Uncanny Concentration

Items: Buckler, Studded Leather, MW Cold Iron Sickle, Morning Star, Sling, and 5 Bear Traps

An obvious choice is a Headband of Alluring Cha. I was thinking a Belt of Str would be nice as well and I was really interested in picking up a Soothsayers Raiment, Mnemonic Vestment, Ring or Revelation, and a couple Pages of Spell Knowledge. The biggest questions I had are 1) What other mundane or magical items would be beneficial and 2) what order would be most beneficial to pick these things up?

Also almost all Paizo content is fair game.

Also, on a side note Bear Traps are awesome, the are one of the most lethal "party members" with and awesome three kills and counting. We just pop those suckers up before we go to sleep or when we know the bad guys are coming and they sure do help a lot.

From what little experience I have had with oracles your on the right track... though I don't know how good of a semi-frontline combatant you will be...

Yeah, I don't plan on being a great one. But delivering touch spells while my wolf is making trip attacks won't be terrible but I wont be any where near as effective as anyone else in terms of damage output.

I guess tanking would be better then focusing on fighting in which case a Belt of Dex might be better then a Belt of Str, I lower my to hit chance but I up my AC. Also I guess I should pick up an amulet of mighty fist for my Wolf, don't know how I missed that one.

A non-cleric/Magus Spellcaster tanking... just when I think I have seen it all...

I hate to say it but... I am at a loss... what exactly is your groups tactics?

Besides trying not to get killed by the random encounters that are way to high for us (like when the GM rolled Will O' Wisps as back to back encounters at 1st lvl but was kind enough to not use them)? The rouge uses a crossbow and attempts to get sneak attack through stealth, the Cavalier charges with his wolf, the Druid throws stuff with his sling while his bear eats the enemy, the Vivisectionist is crazy and unpredictable but for the most part stabs people, and I beat stuff with my morning star and use my few spells to heal after combat or cast an inflict light wounds or two.

I was thinking I might be a big help if I can agro enemies so that the Vivisectionist and rouge can flank while I take a beating. Also I've only had to do it once but I drag friendlies out of combat when they get downed. So we can safely heal them. Other then that I'm waiting for more spells per day/known so I can be more useful. When I can only use 5 spells a day I try to save as many as I can to heal people if we need to.

Edit: And I'm not saying that the GM is making it to hard or easy, its just that the dice do not want our party to live so he has definitely come through for us on that front. And it has been a great game so far. Also I forgot to mention Bear Trap likes to lounge around all day and waits for enemies to come to him... he is kind of a lazy player.

- Mithril Breastplate (won't reduce your movement any more and boosts the AC)

- Boots of Striding & Springing (+10 ft movement)

You are sitting at low cash tho at level 2.

You might consider picking up a few Alchemist Fire. They do some decent damage on a hit and being able to set things on fire quickly can be a good thing at times.

A scroll or three of various spells will help your utility a bit. If you can grab a few of these, they can drastically increase your "caster" potential for the low levels.

A masterwork mace will give you a +1 to hit.
