So, recently, the party ran up against an animated object, and we had a hard time figuring out of any of the conditions impartable via Dirty Trick would work on it (outside of entangle)
Blinded and dazzled both are described as affecting the eyes... of which there were none... Are animated objects) impossible to blind? Where do they see from? Same with deafness and a lack of auditory organs.
Since an animated object is not assumed to have some version of All-Around vision, that it must have something... and since it can hear things, it must have 'ears' ... again, but...
Shaken is described as a lesser form of fear. Does that mean its automatically a mind affecting effect? (thus construct would be immune)
Or is it non mind-affecting unless it specifically says so?
What about Sickened? Would that have worked on an animated object? And if so, how does one describe a walking table being 'sickened'? or does this get covered by lack of a con score?
