Headband of Protection from Evil (Or good, chaos, law)??

Protection from Evil is a lvl 1 spell that dose 3 things. The part I'm interested in is the no mind controle part. How much would this be as an item. It is a level one spell after all.

I know this completely ruins at least 1 school of magic, but is it possable to make this item?

I think you can do that with a Clear Spindle ioun stone and a Wayfinder.

It only protects you against mind control/possession, but that's the part you want anyway.

And if costs only 4500 gold. So you can have it at, what? Level 5? Maybe 6?
