Spell caster Metamagic Feat

Rules Questions

I remember a Metamagic Feat for wizards, I can't remember what it is called but I find it in the SRD anymore. It allowed a wizard to use one Metamagic Feat without using a higher spell slot. Did the feat get nerfed?

I don't think that exists (if it does, I'd be very surprised).

But there are a few feats and class abilities that allow the use of one (or more) metamagic feats at -1 spell level cost. Could that be what you're thinking of?

Perhaps you're thinking of the trait Magical Lineage, or the Spell Perfection feat?

I just found it and yes it is spell perfection. General feat. Thanks you your help guys/gals.
