Ok so my group is about to start the last mod of RotRL. DM hinted might be the last time we are in a major city. I was wondering if I could get some advice on equipment before we set off. I dont want any Spoilers but some help rounding out my character with purchases to increase my survive-ability would be appreciated.
Level 15 Cleric of Gorum (Holy Warrior from the Pathfinder Campaign setting)
Gear I have already:
Rage of the Elements (Runic weapon)
Mithril Full Plate +5
Amulet of Natural Armor +3
Cloak of Resistance +4
Ring of Protection +3
Belt of Giant Strength +4
Headband of Inspired Wisdom +2
Ring of Substance
Goggles of the night
Boots of Sprinting and Striding
Handy Haversack
I don't need a weapon due to the Runic weapon. I have 50k to spend and I have access to Craft Wondrous Items, Craft Rod, Craft Staff through the Leadership feat with a Diviner wizard cohort. So I could spend some money there. Now that I think about it I should post what he has:
Headband of Intelligence +4
Bonded Ring of Substenance
Pearl of Power, 2nd level
Pearl of Power, 3rd level
Ring of Protection +2 (no one else wanted)
Cloak of Protection +3 (no one else wanted)

Improve your Wisdom headband, either upgrade if you have time, or sell it and buy new.
I might do this, but I don't really need more wisdom unless i hit level 17. Which now that i think about it is very likely and need to cast level 9 spells. Also, I'm thinking i'm going to pick up rod of extend so I can have stoneskin on most of the time from the cohort. Was still looking for ideas to increase my survive-ability.

It loks to me like your base survivabiity is just fine; if i were you, I would be working on bolstering my spellcasting. Pearls of Power, Metamagic Rods and Staves would all go a long way towards adding firepower and flexibility to your character.
Also, I see your hand and wrist slots are empty. While there aren't that many choices for those slots, items like Bracelet of Second Chances or Raven Bracers are fun stuff (Raven Bracers in particular are sweet for a melee fighter with a potent melee weapon).
You could also upgrade Belt of Strength to Belt of Physical Might, or improve your Wisdom headbabd etc.
It would be easier to make suggestions if we knew more about your character.

use craft wonderous to upgrade your current belt of giant strength +4 (8000 gp craft value) to a belt of physical perfection +4 (32000gp craft value). A +2 to fort and reflex, ac, init, and + 30 hp...
I'd consider upgrading the resistance bonus to +5 as well. Saves are important.
What is your combat style? (ie are you a spell caster or a buff up and wade in cleric?) Assuming the 2nd, what are your favourite buffs? I'm guessing you don't use a shield...

On paper it seems that way doesnt it; but since I end up being the front line guy I get pounded on alot. Knowing what I know now I would have went sword and board but Im a cleric of Gorum. I scream my challenge to my foes and wade into battle.

DONE

Waiting on this, if I have the left over money I will. I do agree saves are important.

I use a 2hander, I always have Divine Favor up (with 2 wizards haste is cast in every significant fight). Rest of my spells are situational. I keep 2 Righteous Mightx2 for any major conflicts. Resist Energy, Invisibility Purge, Death-ward, Freedom of movement, Breath of life, Healx3, Ethereal Jaunt are all loaded encase i need. Most of the time i finish the day with half my spells unused. I'm OK with this cause I heal up the party for the next day with the slots and I feel like i'm safe for any situation.
I use to get displacement casted on me, this along with Mirror image on my cohort took care of next to all my survive-ability problems but last few sessions monsters have had TrueSight, BlindSight, Echolocation or something like that. And its been rough. A lot of near deaths have made me re-evaluate how i'm going to continue to survive.

So there is the list of slots you have available with Bold meaning it is already filled. Remember that per the rules if you pay a tad more you can have something made to fit a different slot. Is there anything out there that you would want that maybe you thought you couldn't have because you already filled that slot?

Oooh. I would love to be in your shoes. Open your wondrous item section. Consider prayer beads of summons/karma, the amazing incense of meditation and the fabulous candle of invocation.
Cleric's get a LOT of toys. I'd spend most of your gold here, though I definately agree on the belt and resistance items. Also scrolls and other such consumables will be dirt cheap for you, so for whatever little you have left can go there provided you and your wizards cant scribe em.
But I've always wanted to use that incense. No GM has ever given it to me. I can't imagine why. :P
