So, because they're physical objects, if an alchemist had an extract prepared on his person, could an opponent use the steal combat maneuver to yoink! it off of them? I know they'd become inert once they left the alchemist's possession, but what about if it were prepared with the infusion discovery?
It says that the infusion discovery is applied to an extract upon creation, and says nothing about a creature needing to be friendly to you to use it. It seems like an sticky fingered opponent could basically steal your spells if you're an alchemist with the infusion discovery!

Yes. Or you could just kill the Alchemist.
An alchemist NPC to whom this happens makes for an interesting, very driven villain. And for every one of his infusions you use, you make your enemy stronger. A nice dilemma.
A PC Alchemist to whom this happens just got nerfed, potentially even gimped. Few players would see it as a challenge I fear.
