"Multi-classing" archetypes

Rules Questions

I understand that a character can take on more than one archetype, which is very cool, but unless I overlooked something, how does level advancement go? Does the character advance both archetypes simultaneously, or does he choose one archetype over the other when he goes up a level?

It is not multiclassing.

Example:
Class X Archetype 1 substitutes/changes powers 2 3 and 6.

Class X Archetype 2 substitutes/changes powers 1 4 and 5.

Advancement is as per class X but powers 1 2 3 4 5 and 6 are all different due to the two archetypes.

There is no multiclassing archetypes from the same class.

Edit: added clarification.

Thanks. I kinda thought that was it, but it's always good to get backup when unsure.

yeah, as Gauss has said, it only replaces those abilities at those levels.
So if you have to archetypes that replace the same ability, you can't take them. But if you have two archetypes that replace separate abilities, it's legal.

here is a list of stackables if you want them
