Rapid Reload (Combat)
Choose a type of crossbow (hand, light, or heavy). You can reload such weapons quickly.
Prerequisite: Weapon Proficiency (crossbow type chosen).
Because it would appears that the repeating crossbow requires an exotic weapon proficiency and has it's own entry in the equipment section, do I correctly assume that a repeating crossbow (of any kind) is INELIGIBLE for this feat? Or would Rapid Reload (heavy crossbow) also include a heavy repeating crossbow? I'm curious to know the consensus on this.

Well as the feat is written, even the tweaked version of it that applies to firearms as well as crossbows, the repeater is completely left out, so it's very likely that the minds behind the game we love so much never intended for it to be used with repeating crossbows.
That being said, if I was running a game and I was asked if I would allow the feat to be used for a repeating crossbow, I certainly would. This would change the loading time for your cartridge to a standard action instead of a full round action if I read the rules correctly.

Remember the part where it says, "you can take this feat multiple times, its effects do not stack. Each time you take this feat, it applies to a different type of crossbow."?? Well, a repeating crossbow is just a different type of crossbow therefore it qualifies for the feat.
Normally, "changing the clip is a full round action"With Rapid Reload, you can make it a standard action.
Especially if you do that thing in the action movies where they push the clip release with one hand and let the spent clip fall on the ground while they use the other hand to grab a new clip and shove it in.
