I'm going to guess that the ARG is still new enough that there's not already a thread on this...
So, Blood of Fiends has alternate tiefling heritages. They change your stat adjustments, swap out darkness for different SLAs, and change your racial skill bonuses to different pairs of skills.
Meanwhile, the Advanced Race Guide has alternate racial traits. Some of them replace the Skilled racial trait, and some of them replace the Spell-Like Ability racial trait.
So, would taking a heritage prevent you from using those alternate racial traits? I mean, an alternate-heritage tiefling still has the Skilled racial trait (for instance), so it seems reasonable he could replace it. The only reason I ask at all is because of the precedent set by archetype rules. But of course these aren't archetypes.
Thoughts?
