Hey all, have my inquisitor up to 3 (4 next adventure) and trying to figure which way to go. I have the feather domain and plan to pick up a companion but not sure which animal to use. Also I'm the acting "back-up" healer, as in I'm the only one with the cure spells and wands. Sadly in the last adventure I was ;pulling more damage then anyone else so it was tough wasting a turn to heal but hoping with the companion I'll still be able to help. Anyways this is what I have currently:
3rd lvl Inquisitor/preacher Human
Str 14 dex 18 con 12 int 12 cha 7 wis 16
hp 20 Ac 18 Init 9
climb 6, Intimidate 5, knowledge: dungeoneering, nature,planes, religion 10, perception 10, sense motive 9, survival 8
Domain:feather
0-lvl: detect magic, guidance, sift, light, stabalize and read magic
1st lvl: Bless, cure light, divine favor and protection from evil
Feats: Point blank, Precise and Rapid shot
+7 hit composite longbow (+2str)
Just to give a idea my normal combat involves the destruction judgement with divine favor, so with rapid shot I was pulling roughly +7hit and 1D8+6 damage. Currently in the beginning of kingmaker so it seems like it is one combat a day.

Oh another question I have is about bucklers, can a archer use one with the -1 penalty and gain the shield bonus or no?
From the SRD/CRB:
This small metal shield is worn strapped to your forearm. You can use a bow or crossbow without penalty while carrying it.Admittedly, it does go on in the item description text to talk about how if you attack with a 2H weapon whilst the buckler is equipped you take a -1 to attack rolls and lose your shield bonus. Given the item description however, I'm inclined to feel this penalty is meant for 2H melee weapons.
