Scrolls & Arcane Bond

Rules Questions

I couldn't find an answer for this by searching, but I apologize if it's already been answered:

I've been told that in order to upgrade an Arcane Bond to a magic item, a character needs to have some way to cast that spell, typically by having it in your spellbook. However, if you were say, a Sorcerer with the Arcane bloodline, could you case the spell from a scroll instead of needing it to be one of your spells learned?

Also, could someone clarify for me if you need fame as if you were purchasing the item, or just enough fame to pay for the crafting cost? I seem to be getting conflicting answers on this one.

Grand Lodge

Making a magic item of an Arcane Bond has all the requirements that it would normally. The only thing you save on would be having the feat.

And you would need the fame for the total purchase price.

Also keep in mind that some prereqs can be skipped by upping the not-that-hard DC.

I wound just need the GM to confirm a successful check, correct?
