Good aligned Ifrits?

Advice

Greetings everyone.

I am curently interested in creating an Ifrit Pc as I love characters with rash, destructive and free personalities, plus fire and who doesn't like fire?

Reading the ARG It seems most are either neutral or evil aligned but what of good aligned, specifically chaotic good (My personal favourite alignment. Basically still an impetuous, independent, free and destructive individual but possessing a good heart and concience, cares for his friends and companions and has some sense of justice.

The problem is however that even the best-natured ifrits tend to view others as tools to use which too me doesn't bode well for a good aligned character. This is where my dilema is because I want to have my ifrit good aligned but still stay true to the fluff.

Any thoughts?

PCs are special. They don't have to conform to stereotypes. Whatever fluff says about ifrits is irrelevant when you make an ifrit PC. You can use the default fluff as a base or inspiration, but you absolutely don't have to follow it.

Dark Archive

Think of your PC as having 'preacher's daughter' syndrome. His heritage may cry out for lawful and evil behavior, but he marches to his own drum, and is free-spirited and kind-hearted, pulling against his ancestral inclinations with equal fire.

Grand Lodge

A devout follower of Sarenrae is an awesome idea for a good Ifrit.
