In my last match we had several Cartyatid Column monsters. In regards to their Shatter Weapon ability how would this effect some one who uses natural attacks, such as a monk or animal companion?
Can their un armed attacks be "broken". These does seems plausible since the broken condition is just a -2 to attack and damage, as well as adjustment to critical hits.
Thoughts?

RAW no you can't sunder natural or unarmed attacks simply because they can't gain the broken condition
but if you want to play it that way sure, except how are you going to track how long it takes for the broken bones/claws etc to heal.
perhaps you could apply an existing condition like shaken or sickened.
hammer strikes you hand it goes numb and the pain sickens you momentarily

Nope, only manufactured weapons can be broken.

There's already a lot of monsters that are designed to be deadly to characters that use unarmed attacks, so the few monsters designed to screw characters that use manufactured weapons should not be converted into monsters that also screw characters that use unarmed attack. I would not recommend it.
