Question w / Catfolk and Claw Retraction.

Rules Questions

It's as simple as that, but as I can not find it anywhere in the rules, can a Catfolk w/ the Cat's Claws alternate racial trait retract them? Also, is it known what type of action this is? (I would like to believe it's a Free Action.)

My thought process is a Catfolk (Bandit)Rogue w/ the Underhanded and Vicious Claws Rogue Talents while wearing a Amulet of Mighty Fists of Speed.

Thoughts?

To what end?

And what are you asking by "to what end"? Retraction for purposes of being hidden for Underhanded.

Honestly, there are no current rules for hiding natural weapons.

Oddly enough, this tactic works if you are using claw blades, which function with the Vicious Claws talent.

If you need to have a ruling I would say treat them as a light weapon and use normal weapon draw rules.

I'd consider retractable claws as always hidden and a free action to draw, really. Ever seen how quickly a cat can pop their claws out? Fraction of a second.

Seriously, why would you not be using claw blades?

The main problem is RAW, there is nothing saying they are "retractable" mechanically, so without house ruling it it doesn't work.

This what Claw Blades do for catfolk incidentally, so that ruling wouldn't be RAW without the weapons.
