Black Tentacles + Elemental Spell?

Just curious if this is possible. I can imagine fiery/cold/electric/acid tentacles, but not sure if RAW, it's doable (since the damage is physical).

Cheers,

Since Elemental Spell doesn't specify that you have to use a spell with an elemental descriptor, yes, that should be possible.

Cyber's got it right. Elemental Spell can be applied to any spell that deals damage, even if it is not already a spell with an Elemental descriptor(such as Fire).

I agree with Cyberwolf, although I am not sure why you would want to do this 90% of the time.

I had Rime Spell in mind. Though that would be a second question: would Elemental Spell add the cold descriptor?

The other choice would be Dazing Spell, but that would bump the spell another level (and they would get a Will save, whereas with Rime, RAW, it seems they don't).

But Dazing I'm sure would work, whereas Rime, I'll wait for input :)
