Man I haven't been able to access Paizo for like a couple days now. All day yesterday/Sunday and Saturday night. No idea what the heck was going on with this site.

Maybe it was my computer, I don't know. Although, I could access other websites just not this one.

There were issues not related to the update from what I understand - people could only access via phone on 3or 4g (not on wifi)... and this kept happening at night when they were closed, so no one there to fix the issue til the next day... they did an update today, which hopefully will prevent another recurrence. Let's hope they got it fixed finally!

Yeah I read that in another thread how your phone could get through but not desktop/laptop.

I googled paizo and was able to get to the messageboards and see new posts. I was saying to myself: "How in the heck are they posting? I can't go anywhere on this site." And then when the boards finally came back, I read that phones could get through. Trips me out. I don't really get how all that works but it does obviously.

I don't think we actually roll for hp's. All Rajah's hp's are half+1 is why I say that.(Of course, if it's optional like Rain mentioned above then that's probably why I took half+1) :P

@Variel: I never consider teamwork feats mainly because I just don't like them. BUT, having said that, I do like Outflank feat. It's pretty much the only one I do like.

I'd definitely consider that one, well, as long as you or someone else does. I'm trying to figure out a feat for Rajah and nothing really sticks out at the moment. Gonna have to go through them again.

Gonna be the weekend before I can get him updated. The work week has been a beat down for me.

1. Is crafting allowed and/or is there time for it?

2. Should one of us take some type of craft feat if crafting is allowed?

I have craft arms as armor.

Dhaavan has mythic crafting which allows all forms of the craft items I believe. As for how much time we have to craft ahead of us that is unknown. We have to clear the island within a 3 month window if I remember correctly. If it only takes us 1 month and the wedding takes 2 weeks then we will have 6 weeks of crafting ahead of us.

I for one am waiting for dhaavan to upgrade my headband of int to a +4 [percpetion]

Horatio, rapid shot is as good as any if reloading is a free action.

Rajah - The GM created a special set of House Rules for Crafting mundane gear much faster; the rest of the gear (magical sorts) use the standard rules, so crafting things such as buildings/docks/defenses should be easier and less time consuming then before, but Magical Gear still takes the same time (though generally it's only a few days for even epic stuff).

Typically we'll buy Crafting supplies at each port (both for magical and mundane gear), this way, if we need/want a specific item which we cannot find, we end up making it ourselves.

At this point the main thing Horatio does for Crafting is mundane stuff - he is able to create alchemical weapons/poisons and ammo for firearms for both hand-held and siege weapons.

I myself am waiting for a boost to Charisma via an item from Dhaavan as well. However, those generally only take a few days "in-game" to make, so if we have some downtime coming up, we may be able to get our stuff boosted - but a back-up Crafting feat for Wondrous items wouldn't hurt.

Variel - I can fire multiple shots with both the revolver and the pepperbox, but I need at least one hand free to do that - still; I will take your advice and go with it :)

That said - have you looked into Lunge? It may be a good idea to have, especially combined with things like Step-Up - and especially when fighting in duels/one-on-one combats....

Cool. Sounds good. Alertness is always a handy feat. I love feats that are handy.

I know I've probably asked this, but, does Rajah actually have any money? A part of me for some reason wants to say he's got 4,000g maybe? I'm sorry, I just can't remember.

Taking alertness this level as my feat. Finally decided. Thinking I need more help there in social interactions with any pirates now that we are working to get a seat on the council.

Wont have bluff will have maxed out perception, sense motive and diplomacy at least.

Yes. It's +2 better to your AC. Only drawback is there's a -2 AC penalty hit to it.

Rain I think the armor is an upgrade for you

+1 mithral chain shirt is 5 armor with max dex of +6 and no armor penalty.

Elven Chain is 6 armor with a max dex of +4 and -2 to armor check penalty. Give Variel a day and 500gp and it will be 7 armor.

Both are light armors so that is no problem as well. The question is do you want the extra 2 armor for 2 armor check penalty.

Actually, it is already a 7 armor due to the +1. BUT, you could make it a +2 with a mere 1,500g and a day. :)

Yeah I'd have to think on it too if I was contemplating taking it. That -2 penalty is just a bit on the annoying side. -1 would be less of an issue but man once it gets higher than that, it just makes the decision a bit tougher.

Variel - if Alertness was a difficult choice... and you really want more diplomacy - instead think maybe about the extra traits feat and take

Thanks Jairo but I was looking at more sense motive and perception skill buffs or going more offensive with intense spell. I am happy with diplomacy so far.
