A rope dart, functionally they are almost the same as a meteor hammer.
Anyways my questions are:
Is a Rope dart a 2h weapon or 1 h?
Do I use Power Attack or Deadly Aim?
Is it Melee with a range of 20' or Ranged that can also hit adjacent?
If it is ranged is it considered thrown?
If it is ranged does it provoke?
If it is ranged and 2h does it qualify for the 2h thrower feat?

I can't answer the question for you, but go to Youtube and see if a search turns up anything. I've used it for this very purpose and it's often quite helpful.
Oh I know how they work, I have one. Its definitely 2h but skilled people can use it 1h.

It's odd, they list it as a ranged weapon, but it should probably be modeled more like the whip.

- RAW, I guess Deadly Aim. IMO, should be Power Attack
- RAW...I really have no idea. IMO< it should be melee 20 ft reach (including adjacent) but can't be used for AoOs / threatened area

- Whether it's 1H or 2H, you can always 2H a 1H weapon, so that doesn't matter.
I agree, I totally should have been modeled after the whip. This is one of the few EWP that i am interested in. The one I have IRL was homemade and is made out of a railroad spike rather than a whimpy dart, I can easily launch it through a solid door, this thing should have a bonus to sundering or +1 atk vs armor.
