Hey Daigle, remember that one old game you where in:

One of my favorite DMs is gearing up to run City of the Spider Queen backwards. Start along the River of Blood and follow it up to where that touches the Prime and make the main motivation getting home. At least that's as far as he's told me.
Did that every fully get off the ground?? If so,
how did things turn out?

Same. I have players who want me to pick up the very first campaign I ever ran, despite the fact that it was railroady as all heck and the plot was full of a bazillion holes. My Savage Tide game was better, but requires a lot more work to run due to Gestalt-ifying everything, but I'm pretty sure if I announced that I was going to run it I'd have my old group jumping at the chance.
Been meaning to poke one of my other GMs and see if he'd be willing to start back up his Age of Worms game as a PbP, so I guess I find this feeling on both sides of the screen =)

Game Memory:
I played in a fun 5e campaign last week: I was a hill dorf and we killed
Medusa. We were asked to do it by a tribe of Orcs. I was afraid of the
Orcs trying to double cross us, but surprisingly, they gave us good intelligence.
We found ourselves in a large valley with a wooded area in the center,
and the high sloping walls riddled with cave entrances. Luckily we made
it to our goal without being harassed by harriers (I know the DM made
a few Random Encounter checks.)
Immediately upon entering the cave our group had to make a decision of
turning left or right. We chose left using a dice roll.
Then they attacked. Viscous monsters trying to eat our eyeballs. Oh,
those scoundrels. (I don't remember what type of monster they were now.)
It was after a few rounds of battle, my hill dorf broke off from our main
body and pushed up the left flank. It was risky moving off alone, but
I felt ok because my dorf can see in the dark.
Then, the lights in the room flared up, and there she was... Medusa.
Now, I know enough about Medusa (from watching that one movie) that we
are not supposed to look her in the eyes. So I looked at her knees.
Heck, for a dorf that is eye level.
Anyways, by this time our main group had advanced forward in the center
and was absorbing a counter-attack. I didn't hesitate. I threw myself
at the Medusa. It was a close one, but I got her! Yup, got her good.

This is my Hill Dorf/QUOTE]
That is a terrific pic! Did you do it or just do like I do and surf fantasy art sites until I find one I like?
