On a monster's melee line, what does it mean with there is a / on the 2 hit dice?

Example

+1 Darkwood Thunderering Morning Star +16/+11 (2d6+9), claw +12 (1d6+4), bite +12 (1d8+4).

for this creature, what does the +16/+11 mean? This create gets all of these attacks during its turn correct?

Thanks,
John

They get two attacks with the morning star, one at +16 and one at +11.

Hope that helps!

So this creature gets 4 total attacks on its turn. OK, thanks, that clears it up.

Yes the creature would, and you probably already know this, but: It only gets all those attacks on a Full-Round Attack. Otherwise it's just one attack (unless they have Pounce and charge.)

So if the creature moves, it gets only one of the attacks. Thanks for the reminder, I forgot about that.
